Born in 1986 in Sumy, Ukraine. Currently living and working in Calgary, Canada.
I am a member of the Federation of Canadian Artists (2023) and the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (2017). My works have been showcased in numerous exhibitions in Ukraine, Italy, Canada, and other countries. I have received awards for outstanding paintings and decorative art pieces.
In my work, I explore philosophical questions of human existence, subconsciousness, and potential. Inspired by nature, psychology, and self-reflection, I create paintings that invite viewers to engage in an inner dialogue.
By combining realism and abstraction, I aim to convey harmony between the physical world and the energy surrounding us. My art serves as a bridge between the visible and the invisible, an invitation to reflection and beauty.
ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The canvas depicts white lilies emerging against a blue-ochre abstract background. The flowers, painted in a realistic manner, contrast with the chaotic yet harmonious brushstrokes of the background, creating a sense of merging two worlds. The background, rich with deep blue and warm ochre tones, symbolizes subconscious realms where emotions and dreams intertwine. The lilies, as visible symbols of reality, seem to grow from this inner space, emphasizing the artist's intention to unite the subconscious with the tangible, making the invisible visible. The painting conveys a subtle dialogue between the conscious and the unconscious, form and abstraction.
